Does the military test for CBD

What is CBD?

CBD oil, or cannabidiol, is a derivative of industrial hemp and contains little to no THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). THC is the substance that military drug labs test for. With little or no THC in most CBD products, it is unlikely a person would fail a military drug test.

How Do You Ingest CBD?

CBD oil can be vaped, but it can also be ingested through edibles and by other means.

Can the Military Ban CBD Based Products?

There is some litigation in the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces on the question of whether the military can ban CBD based products. Basically, an Air Force Instruction had banned the use of hemp or hemp seed oil products. CAAF found that there was no legitimate basis to ban a product just because it contains hemp.
